NORTH SHORE MOVES: TRANSPORTATION AND YOU
Outreach program for grade 5-7, Includes 3 classroom visits, plus bonus features.
Cost: $125

Transportation on Vancouver's North Shore is a story that goes back thousands of years to the canoes of the Squamish people, and continues through sailing ships, horses, steamships, trains, automobiles, bicycles and public transit.

Today's North Shore is a playground for recreational transport such as mountain bikes and kayaks; and has witnessed developments in transportation for people with disabilities, and new energy sources such as fuel cells.
The North Shore Moves brings these elements together, providing an historic overview of transportation in the region, and a roadmap to help students make healthy, sustainable transportation choices. The program includes a number of presentations, activities and extra features for you and your class.
